In June, 1975, two young teen-aged girls in Hollywood, Florida, needed a ride to go to a friend's house. They had hitchhiked before, so they didn't think anything of it when a white van pulled over and offered them a ride. They got in and were never seen alive again. Their bodies were found the next day in the Everglades. Although the case has been a cold one for a long time, the Broward Sheriff's Office recently used the M-Vac™ and found a significant piece of the puzzle. They found the DNA profile of a perpetrator. They still suspect there was an additional perpetrator, and they don't know the whole narrative, but they have made a meaningful step forward in the case.
